PAINTER-BODYWORKER

The aeronautical body painter prepares and paints the exterior surfaces of aircraft, using specific techniques. He applies coatings, carries out touch-ups and ensures compliance with quality and safety standards. Aeronautical training is required.

The candidate will have the following main tasks:

  • Responsible for all aspects of surface preparation and painting application on aircraft and vehicles.
  • Identify defects in parts and perform repairs.
  • Prepare surfaces for sanding, painting, and finishing.
  • Mask areas before applying paint.

Requirements and skills sought:

  • A bodywork-painter qualification certificate is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The aircraft maintenance technician must perform maintenance tasks, such as scheduled inspections and rectification of defects.
